1. Scope
These terms govern the use of contextdrivenpm.org, the whitepaper reader, and collaboration features (Contribute mode).
2. Copyright and Trademark Rights
The Context Driven PM methodology is protected by copyright. "Context Driven PM" and "CDPM" are protected names/trademarks.

2.1 Permitted Use
- free application of the methodology within your organization
- adaptation to your needs
- internal training and internal sharing
- citation/reference with proper attribution
2.2 Attribution Requirement
For public references, use:
"Based on Context Driven PM (www.contextdrivenpm.org)"
2.3 Licensed Use
The following uses require a separate commercial license:
- commercial trainings/workshops
- certification programs
- software products marketed with CDPM as a primary feature
- consulting services using "Context Driven PM" or "CDPM" in the name

2.4 Prohibited Use
- unauthorized use of protected marks
- misrepresentation as an official partner/representative
- claiming authorship of the original methodology
- selling the methodology as your own product
3. Website Use
3.1 Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and technical incidents may cause downtime.
3.2 Content
Website content is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice.
3.3 External Links
We are not responsible for external third-party content linked from this website.
4. Whitepaper Collaboration (Contribute)
4.1 Principle
The whitepaper allows anonymous inline suggestions (rolling-SSOT model). There is no claim to publication, acceptance, or response.
4.2 User Obligations
You may only submit content that:
- is lawful,
- does not infringe third-party rights,
- does not include unauthorized confidential or personal data of third parties,
- is not spam or abusive promotional content.
Unlawful, offensive, deceptive, or technically abusive submissions are prohibited.
4.3 Moderation and Governance
Submissions may be filtered, rejected, hidden, or removed. Distillation decisions and source updates are controlled exclusively by the Project Owner.
Votes (up/down) are prioritization signals and are not binding.
5. Rights to Submitted Suggestions
By submitting a suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, unlimited in time and scope, to:
- store and process your submission,
- review, score, filter, and translate it,
- edit, shorten, merge, and distill it,
- publish it in the whitepaper, website, repository, and derived artifacts (for example PDF).
This license is used solely to operate, evolve, and document the whitepaper as SSOT.
6. Author Credits
Name display is only possible if all of the following apply:
- you explicitly opted in during submission,
- the suggestion was accepted/distilled,
- the Project Owner approved the author credit.
There is no entitlement to name display. Published changes may remain permanently traceable in version histories.
7. Disclaimer and Liability
7.1 No Warranty
The website and methodology are provided "as is".
7.2 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use or non-use of the website/methodology.
7.3 Own Responsibility
Application of the methodology is at your own responsibility.
8. Data Protection
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms with future effect. The version published on this website applies.
10. Final Provisions
10.1 Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
10.2 Place of Jurisdiction
Place of jurisdiction is Fürth, Germany, where legally permissible.
10.3 Severability
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
